Wash twice a day with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne wash. You can get it at any drug store. Or else get any face wash that contains 2% salicylic acid.

Then if you get a spot try Clerasil, the one that contains 10% benzoil peroxide, or any other cream with that ingredient.Best way to get rid of and help to prevent spots and blackheads?
I hated my spots and after trying tons of over-the-counter treatment, I went to the doctors and had different creams and tablets for about 3 years - none of them had any long term effect whatsoever. In the end, I gave all that up and tried learning to live with them. I realised I can do more to get rid of my spots than all medications put together.

Greasy foods does not effect them one way or another.

Wash your face well twice a day and use a decent cleanser (one that does not contain alcohol or other drying agents, oil or other greasy ingredients, and one that is non-comedogenic / won't clog the skin).

Don't over wash your face. This'll mean your washing away all your bodies natural oils which could prevent them anyway.

Wash after sweating as sweat is fluid from inside your body which carries similar things as in your urine from your body.

Keep your hair clean to keep excess oils and dirt away from your face, and if you have long hair try to keep it tied back.

Try to avoid face and hand contact, as you hands touch so many different things therefore picking up so many different germs - which obviously wont helpl spots.

Get outside. Whilst too much sun causes very bad skin damage, not enough can cause just as much. The sun releses endorfines which make you happier and more energised, vitim D which is good for the skin, and it can also dry up spots.

Keep smiling - they wont last forever.
i have had acne for 5 years and ive tried evrything from proactive to pills....... so i started using neutragena and i used it 3 times a day its great it dosent dry out your face and u can were it in the sun without making your skin sensitive to the sun! its amazing and if that dosent work i reccomend seeing a dermatologist.....but in the meen time dont put oily bases on your face (like sunscreen,or lotion, etc.) those clog your pores and then with etheir lead to more black heads or pimples.......and try not to rub your face with your hands b/c the oil from your hands will have the same effect as oliy products....i hope i helped..=]
